Wildcat Challenge presented by Kentucky Tourism Schedule Announce

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Kentucky Wildcats will host Saint Joseph’s, Texas A&M University-Commerce, and Stonehill in the Wildcat Challenge presented by Kentucky Tourism, a three-game round robin event that will take place from November 10th to November 20th, 2023. 

The Wildcats will host three games at Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center: November 10th vs A&M-Commerce, November 17th vs Stonehill, and November 20th vs Saint Joseph’s. 

Rounding out the schedule, Saint Joseph’s will host Stonehill on November 14th and A&M-Commerce on November 17th, while A&M-Commerce will host Stonehill on November 20th. 

Kentucky, led by John Calipari, finished the 2022-23 regular season 21-12 and earned a six seed in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The 2023-24 Wildcats return Antonio Reeves and welcome seven highly ranked Freshmen as well as top-rated transfer Tre Mitchell.  

Saint Joseph’s is coming off its best season under Billy Lange, finishing 16-17 overall. All Conference guard Erik Reynolds II returns to Hawk Hill where he led the team in three pointers made (99) and points per game (19.6). He ranks among the top-15 returning scorers in the nation heading into 2023-24. 

A&M-Commerce finished the 2022-23 season, their first in Division One, at 13-20 with a Southland Conference record of 9-9. Head Coach Jaret Von Rosenberg looks to build on the solid foundation established during last season. 

Stonehill enjoyed tremendous success under the tutelage of Head Coach Chris Kraus at the Division Two level. They continued that trend in their inaugural Division One season going 14-17 overall and 10-4 in conference play. They finished in a tie for second place in the NEC regular season standings.
