2K Classic Comes to a Close

The 21st annual 2K Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project came to an end on Saturday when Georgetown defeated Bryant, 77-47, at the Verizon Center.

The Hoyas placed four players in double figures, led by L.J. Peak and his 20 points. Isaac Copeland posted 13 points and five assists, Marcus Derrickson had 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Bradley Hayes tallied 10 points.

Bryant, which was limited to just 19-of-60 shooting for the game, received 15 points and 12 rebounds from Marcel Pettaway and 10 points from Shane McLaughlin.

On Wednesday, Wisconsin claimed an 85-67 decision from Prairie View as six different Badgers reached double digits.

Bronson Koenig led Wisconsin with 16 points. Zak Showalter netted 14 points, Ethan Happ had 12 points and eight rebounds, Charlie Thomas scored 12 points, Vitto Brown tallied 11 points, and Nigel Hayes had 10 points and seven assists.

Prairie View was paced by Tevin Bellinger and his 21 points. Zachary Hamilton added 12 points.
