Nevada forces decisive Game 3 in CBI Championship Series<\/strong>

RENO, Nev.<\/strong> \u2013 D.J. Fenner scored a career-high 26 points to lead Nevada to a 77-68 win over Morehead State to even the best-of-three CBI Championship Series at one game apiece.<\/p>\n

The decisive Game 3 will be played Friday at Nevada\u2019s Lawlor Events Center. Tip-off will be 9:00pm (ET) on ESPNU with Mitch Holthus and Sean Harrington again calling the action.<\/p>\n

From the opening tip, the intensity level was at a maximum as both teams picked up where they left off from Monday\u2019s 86-83 Morehead State win. Nevada entered halftime with a 33-27 lead and expanded that lead to as many as 12 points when Fenner connected on a jump shot to put the Wolf Pack ahead 61-49 with 7:37 to play.<\/p>\n

However, Morehead State went on a 10-1 run over the next 3:11, capped by Brent Arrington\u2019s jumper, to pull the Eagles within three at 62-59. But Fenner again was the answer, hitting a three-pointer with 2:06 to go to give Nevada breathing room at 69-62.<\/p>\n

Cameron Oliver posted 14 points and 11 rebounds for Nevada (23-14), which also received 12 points, six rebounds, and five assists from Tyron Criswell and 10 points and six rebounds from Marqueze Coleman.<\/p>\n

Morehead State (23-13) was paced by Arrington\u2019s 16 points. DeJuan Marrero added 13 points and 12 rebounds<\/p>\n<\/div>
