NC State Earns Win in FanDuel Legends Classic

Cat Barber posted 17 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists to lead NC State to an 88-70 win over South Alabama in the FanDuel Legends Classic opener for both teams.

Caleb Martin recorded 19 points and six rebounds, Maverick Rowan scored 15 points, and Abdul-Malik Abu had 14 points and six rebounds for the Wolfpack, who never trailed in the game.

South Alabama was paced by Taishaun Johnson and his 16 points and seven rebounds. John Brown had 10 points and seven rebounds and Barrington Stevens scored 10 points.

The FanDuel Legends Classic resumes Monday with three games: Kennesaw State is at LSU (9:00pm ET, ESPNU), Marquette hosts IUPUI (9:00pm ET, FS1), and Belmont is at Arizona State (10:00pm ET, Pac-12 Network).
