Oregon downs Eastern Washington

November 9, 2018

Oregon used a 24-0 first half run to defeat Eastern Washington, 81-47, in its 2K Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project opener.

Oregon was firing on all cylinders as four Ducks scored in double figures and Bol Bol posted his second double-double in as many games.

Eastern Washington took a 6-5 lead at the 15:57 mark of the first half, but after a layup by Bol, the Ducks took control. Oregon held EWU scoreless for 11 minutes as they went on a 24-0 tear, taking a 29-6 lead with 5:09 left in the half.

Oregon allowed just nine more points in the remainder of the period to take a 35-15 lead at halftime. Bol finished with 12 points in the half, while Payton Pritchard (pictured) went into the locker room with five assists and six points and ended the game with 10 points and eight assists.

Oregon carried its momentum into the second half, making it hard for Eastern Washington to contain them. The Ducks got hot from beyond the arc, knocking down four three-pointers in a row to take a 44-20 lead with 17:34 left in the game.

2K Empire Classic benefiting Wounded Warrior Project resumes on Saturday when No. 16 Syracuse hosts Morehead State.
