Guardians Classic Media Credential Requests

Princeton, NJ (October 30, 2001) – Missouri (#8 - ESPN.com), Memphis (#10), Iowa (#11) and Alabama (#24), will host the opening, regional rounds of the inaugural Guardians Classic on November 13th & 14th, 2001. The Championship rounds of the Event will be held on November 20th & 21st at Kemper Arena in Kansas City, MO. To request media credentials for the Regional Rounds and/or Championship Rounds of the Guardians Classic, please fax your written request, on company letterhead, to Phil Wendler of the Gazelle Group at 609-921-2332. Media traveling to the event with one of the participating schools should contact that particular school's Sports Information Director.

For the Championship Rounds at Kemper Arena:
Several phone lines will be provided in the working press room, however, if you would like to request an exclusive line, or a line at the scorer’s table, please include this information with your credential request. The fee for installation will be $200 per line if requested by November 16th; $250 per line after Nov. 16th. ISDN lines can be installed for $200 per line plus an activation fee.

*The Deadline for Championship Round Credential, phone & ISDN line requests is THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH.
