Marquette, Texas Tech Join Duke in
Kansas City, Air Force to Play Stanford
for Final Spot

Championship Round Teleconference Tomorrow at Noon

Princeton, NJ (November 15, 2006) – Last night the Marquette Golden Eagles and the Texas Tech RedRaiders both advanced out of their respective Regional Rounds of the CBE Classic. Marquette defeatedDetroit 87-45 in Milwaukee, and Texas Tech beat UALR 93-59 in Lubbock, Texas.
Both teams secured a spot in the Championship Rounds in Kansas City on November 20th and 21st and will face each other in the semifinals. They will join the Duke Blue Devils, who won the Durham
Regional Rounds on Monday with a win over Georgia Southern, 72-48. Duke will take on the winner of
the Palo Alto Regional Rounds, hosted by Stanford.
Air Force plays Stanford tonight at 10 p.m. EST on ESPNU to determine who will go to Kansas City.

held tomorrow, Thursday, November 16, 2006 at noon.

Format: The teleconference will open with a short introduction by Gazelle Group President Rick Giles
and an NABC representative, followed by brief remarks by the coaches of the four teams that advanced

The College Basketball Experience Classic was created to promote the NABC's "College Basketball Experience" and the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, currently being developed within the new Sprint Center arena located in downtown Kansas City. The CBE Classic will fold into the College Basketball Experience Weekend, a three-day event celebrating the best of men's college basketball.
