Michigan Wolverines – Head Coach: John Beilein (Big Ten Conference)
Began the 2009-10 season ranked 15th in both polls...the Wolverines were the youngest team in the Big Ten last season and return 10 players in 2010-11...junior guard Zack Novak averaged 7.4 ppg and 4.3 rpg and is the leading returning player in both categories...junior guard Stu Douglass netted 6.8 points a game to go along with handing out 2.5 assists per outing...nine of Michigan's losses were by seven points or less.

Posted a 23-13 record and advanced to the championship game of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament and the second round of the NCAA Tournament...the NCAA trip was the 16th in school history and its 24th postseason bid...the Yellow Jackets return 12 players, including junior guard Iman Shumpert, who averaged 10.0 points and a team-high 4.0 assists a game...sophomore forward Brian Oliver tallied 7.1 points per game.

UTEP Miners – Head Coach: Tim Floyd (Conference USA)
The Miners posted a 26-7 record and won the Conference USA regular season title...UTEP also earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005...the Miners are led by senior guard Randy Culpepper, who paced UTEP in scoring with a 17.9 ppg average to earn Conference USA Player of the Year honors...senior forward Jeremy Williams posted averages of 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds an outing...the Miners will be under the direction of first-year head coach Tim Floyd, won has amassed 328 wins during his career, which includes stops at Idaho, New Orleans, Iowa State, and USC.

Albany Great Danes – Head Coach: Will Brown (America East Conference)
Albany returns 12 players from last season, seven of whom were freshmen in 2009-10...leading the Great Danes is senior guard Tim Ambrose, who tallied 12.4 points a game and led Albany in rebounding (5.3 rpg) and assists (2.8 apg)...among the freshmen who are now sophomores, guard Mike Black averaged 7.2 points and 2.4 assists a game in being named to the America East All-Rookie team...head coach Will Brown has taken the Danes to the AEC Tournament semifinals three times in the last five years.

Bowling Green Falcons – Head Coach: Louis Orr (Mid-American Conference)
After winning the Mid-American Conference championship in 2009 and losing four of its top five scorers from that team, Bowling Green was a respectable 14-16 last season...this year nine players return, including the Falcons' top two scorers...junior forward Scott Thomas averaged a team-best 13.2 ppg to go with a 6.3 rpg average to earn honorable mention All-MAC acclaim...junior guard Dee Brown registered 10.6 ppg.

Detroit Titans – Head Coach: Ray McCallum (Horizon League)
Detroit went 20-14 in 2009-10, marking the team's first winning season in six years and the first 20-win campaign since 2000-01...the reason was three players who each earned a spot on the Horizon League All-Newcomer team...junior guard Chase Simon led the Titans in scoring (14.0 ppg) while also earning all-league second-team recognition...senior forward Xavier Keeling (12.4 ppg) and junior center Eli Holman (11.8 ppg, team-high 8.9 rpg) joined Simon on the newcomer squad...this year head coach Ray McCallum welcomes his son, Ray McCallum, who is rated among the nation's Top 20 prospects by ESPN.com.
