Semifinal Match-ups Announced for CBE Classic; ESPN Networks to televise all four
Championship Round games
In the first game of the semifinal doubleheader, which will be held at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo., on Monday, November 21, Missouri will meet Notre Dame in a 7:30 p.m. (EST) tip. That game will be followed by Cal taking on Georgia in the nightcap. Both games will be aired live on ESPN2. (more)

13 Players On Preseason John A. Wooden Award List To Participate In Gazelle Group Events
The Los Angeles Athletic Club announced its 50 preseason candidates for the John A. Wooden Award, which is presented annually to the nation’s top collegiate men’s basketball player. According to the club, the list is comprised of "50 student-athletes who, based on last year’s individual performance and team records, are the early front-runners for college basketball’s most prestigious honor." The schedule and national television coverage for the 10th annual O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic men's college basketball tournament have been completed.
Defending National Champion Duke, along with Kansas State, Gonzaga, and Marquette will serve as the four Regional Round hosts for the event, matchups for which were previously announced. O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic Field Completed
The 12-team field, schedule and television coverage for the O'Reilly Auto Parts CBE Classic men's college basketball tournament has been completed.
A total of ten games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks. ESPN2 will televise the first Pittsburgh Regional Round game on November 17th, both Championship Round doubleheaders on November 23rd and the Championship game on November 24th. The consolation game on November 24th will be televised on ESPNU. ESPNU will also televise all four games from the Iowa City and Austin Regional Rounds, along with the first Wichita Regional Round game on November 15th. (more)

Last night the Marquette Golden Eagles and the Texas Tech Red Raiders both advanced out of their respective Regional Rounds of the CBE Classic. Marquette defeated Detroit 87-45 in Milwaukee, and Texas Tech beat UALR 93-59 in Lubbock, Texas. (more)

The conference will be divided into four segments, with coaches grouped into their respective Regional Round sites. Tickets for the Guardians Classic Morgantown Regional Rounds will go on sale to the general public today at 9:00 a.m. EST. This season-opening college basketball tournament will feature 16 teams competing at four regional sites. West Virginia University will host Fairleigh Dickinson, Louisiana Monroe and Wofford at WVU Coliseum on November 12-13, 2005. Iowa, Kentucky and Texas are the other three host schools. (more)
