More "March Madness" as CBI Championship Series Tips Off Tonight
PRINCETON, N.J. - "March Madness" continues tonight as the inaugural College Basketball Invitational begins its "Best of Three" Championship Series tonight at 8:00 PM ET when the Tulsa Golden Hurricane host the Bradley Braves.

Fox College Sports will broadcast all of the games with Michael Reghi (play-by-play) and Bob Sundvold (analyst) calling the action. The CBI Championship Series will also be available on DirecTV Channel 669.
Tulsa (23-13) enters tonight's game having won 13 of their last 16 games, including three in a row during the CBI to reach the Championship Series. The Golden Hurricane is led by 2nd Team All- Conference USA guard Ben Uzoh (15.7 pts, 5.5 reb), who has scored in double-figures in 32 of 36 games this year. Sophomore center Jerome Jordan was named to the Conference USA All-Defensive Team, as he set a school-record with 129 blocked shots this season. Senior guard Brett McDade became the seventh player in Tulsa history to surpass 1,000 points and 300 assists in a career during the CBI.
Bradley (20-15) is led by a pair of senior guards that have both surpassed 1,200 career points. Jeremy Crouch led the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring (15.9 pts), while knocking down a school-record 111 three-pointers this season. Daniel Ruffin (14.3 pts) also leads the team in assists (152). Head Coach Jim Les now has an impressive 6-2 post-season record in his time back with his alma mater, including the three wins in the 2008 CBI.
Finals Notes
- This is a matchup of old rivals from the Missouri Valley Conference. Tonight's game is the 100th all-time matchup (Bradley leads 60-39).
- Bradley and Tulsa are the last two MVC teams to win a post-season national tournament.
- Of Tulsa's 23 wins this season, 18 have been double-digit victories.
- Bradley has won post-season games for the third straight year (2nd time in school history).
- Monday's game will equal the latest date Bradley has ever played a sanctioned men's basketball game.
