CBI Finals Update: Oregon State Takes 1-0 Series Lead
The Oregon State Beavers started the second half with a 17-2 run en route to a 75-69 win over the UTEP Miners in Game #1 of the College Basketball Invitational Championship Series.

Oregon State, with a 1-0 lead in the "Best of Three" series, heads to El Paso, TX for Game #2 on Wednesday and (if necessary) Game #3 on Friday. (more).

CBI Championship Series Preview
The 2009 College Basketball Invitational has reached the Championship Series, which will begin on Monday, March 30th. The "Best of Three" will pit the UTEP Miners (22-12) against the Oregon State Beavers (16-17) (more).

HDNet To Televise 2009 College Basketball Invitational
HDNet and the Gazelle Group announced today an agreement to broadcast the 2009 College Basketball Invitational. The network will televise as many as eleven of the tournament games, including all games of the "Best of Three" Championship Series (more).

CBI Championship Series Deciding Game 3 Friday Night
The Bradley Braves defeated the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, 83-74, on Wednesday in Game #2 of the CBI Championship Series to tie the"Best of Three" series at two games a piece. The Championship Series will be decided Friday night in Tulsa with Game 3. (more)

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane defeated the Bradley Braves, 73-68, on Monday in Game #1 of the CBI Championship Series for a 1-0 lead in the "Best of Three" series. The Championship Series shift to Bradley for Game #2 tonight. (more)

The inaugural College Basketball Invitational is set for the semifinals on Wednesday, March 26th. At 7:00 PM ET, the Virginia Cavaliers (17-15) will host the Bradley Braves (19-15) followed by the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (22-13) hosting the Houston Cougars (24- 9) at 9:00 PM ET. (more)
