Wisconsin used its height advantage as the 19th-ranked Badgers pounded the ball inside against No. 12 Oklahoma time after time for easy shots to beat the Soonersin the Coaches vs. Cancer third-place game.

Game 1 - Georgia 94, Oklahoma 70
Coco Miller scored 20 points and sixth-ranked Georgiz overcame foul trouble to beat No. 12 Oklahoma in the opening game of the 2001 Coaches vs. Cancer Challenge, which features four of the nation's Top 20 teams.

Game 2 - Notre Dame 83, Wisconsin 56
Wisconsin did a great job containing Notre Dame's two best scorses, Ruth Riley and Alicia Ratay, but the Badgers forgot about Niele Ivey, who had 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the fifth-ranked Irish.

Erin Batth scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds, two blocks and two steals in leading Clemson to a 70-65 win over Kentucky in the consolation game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Challenge.

Game 1 - Old Dominion 68, Clemson 57
Lucienne Berthieu scored 18 points, including six during a 13-2 run in the final four minutes, as no. 14 Old Dominion advanced to the championship game of the inaugural Coaches vs. Cancer Challenge.

Game 2 - Connecticut 68, Kentucky 62
Kentucky challenged top-ranked Connecticut until a late rally by Svetlana Abrosimovca and Shea Ralph helped the Huskies avoid an upset with a 68-62 win.
