2003 BCA Football Classic Tickets on Sale July 14
July 11, 2003 --
The Kansas State Wildcats, ranked as high as No. 4 in the preseason college football rankings, will kick off the season at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, August 23rd versus California in the BCA Football Classic. Kickoff is set for 6:45 pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, July 14th and will be available at the Arrowhead Stadium Box Office, all ticketmaster locations, charge by phone at 816-931-3330 or at www.ticketmaster.com. The Crowton Era Begins
Aug, 23, 2001 -- BYU football enters a new era this season following the retirement of coaching legend LaVell Edwards who spent 29 years on the sidelines for the Cougars, compiling a 257-101-3 record. Gary Crowton, a native of Orem, Utah, will take over at the helm for the Cougars after successful stints with Louisiana Tech and the Chicago Bears. (more)

NCAA Approves BCA Classic Football Game
July 10, 2001 -- The NCAA announced today that the BCA Classic preseason football game has been given final approval and granted a waiver for Brigham Young University to host Tulane University in the fifth annual Black Coaches Association Classic. (more)

Brigham Young to Host Tulane in the 2001 BCA Football Classic
June 26, 2001 -- The Gazelle Group, producer of the BCA Classic, is pleased to announce that Brigham Young University will host Tulane University in the 2001 BCA Classic preseason football game. The fifth annual BCA Classic will be held on Saturday, August 25th at LaVell Edwards Stadium and will be nationally televised on ESPN2 at 4:30 EST. (more)
