Columbus, Ohio - Andrew Williams picked a great time for a breakout game as a redshirt freshman. His three-point basket with 24 seconds remaining Saturday sealed Alabama A&M's first victory of the season, 70-66 over South Dakota State in the second day of the BCA Classic. Williams finished with 19 points, including 7-7 from the freethrow stripe to lead the Bulldogs.

Trant Simpson came off the bench to play 33 minutes with no turnovers, dished out five assists, and scored 11 points. Mickell Gladness grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Bulldogs will face Princeton at 1:00 p.m. Sunday in the fifth-place game.
