Hickman had 14 points and Oleksiak 12 for UNC-Greensboro, which bounced back to win two games in the tournament after losing to Wisconsin-Green Bay 71-48 in the opening round on Sunday night.

Howell led the Mavericks with 13 points, but shot only 3-for-11.

Texas-Arlington had a dismal day shooting, going 14-for-55 -- 26 percent -- but UNC Greensboro wasn't much better at 20-for-52 -- 39 percent. Hines was 9-for-16 shooting.

UNC-Greensboro is favored to win the Southern Conference this season after going 18-12 last season, when Hines was the league's freshman of the year.
